Conformation of donations up to EUR 200 (previously EUR 100) can be provided in the form of a cash deposit slip or confirmation of deposit from the bank as a simplified donation receipt. The deduction of higher donation amounts is only recognised by the fiscal authorities upon presentation of a donation receipt issued by the recipient of the donation. In case of donations for relief after a catastrophe the simplified donation receipt is generally accepted.
